About Hilary Pillette
Hilary Pillette is a multidisciplinary Visual Designer, Web Production Artist, and Content Writer with a talent for blending compelling storytelling, clean design, and user-focused digital experiences. Originally from San Francisco, she began her career in Silicon Valley’s tech world before expanding her creative practice in Portland, Austin, and now Santa Rosa, California.
With more than a decade of experience across corporate, agency, and small-business environments, Hilary collaborates seamlessly with art directors, project managers, web producers, editors, developers, and entrepreneurs. She brings a strategic, research-driven mindset to every project—whether she’s shaping a brand voice, refining UX/UI assets, or producing high-quality print and digital deliverables.
Her design approach is rooted in clarity, intuition, and craft. She loves the full arc of the creative process—from concept and visual exploration to polished production and final execution. Over the years, she has built a strong portfolio of logos, product packaging, visual identities, hand-lettered and digital illustrations, spot art, infographics, and marketing collateral, along with web production work involving photo editing, layout, wireframes, content updates, and quality assurance.
Hilary also brings sharp writing skills to her creative toolkit. Trained in content strategy, case-study writing, and digital copywriting, she enjoys researching products and audiences, interviewing customers, and crafting messaging that strengthens brand voice and elevates user experience.
Outside of client work, Hilary stays creatively inspired through painting, writing, reading, music, and spending time with her community—including her well-loved cats. She is passionate about lifelong learning and believes in using creativity as a way to connect, communicate, and keep life interesting.
